The Origins
Water Polo & Endurance
I played water polo in the Spanish National League with CN La Latina and in junior teams at Real Canoe. When I started my surgical residency I had to stop — surgery and research became my passion. That's when I discovered long-distance running: marathons, trail running — reaching 62 km at La Cabrera.

My friend Jorge Delgado, owner of DS7 Training Center, challenged me to compete in hybrid fitness races. We trained together for Hybrid Race Valencia 2025 in the Doubles category.

How HybridBeastBrain™ Was Born
As a surgeon I apply the scientific method every day — systematic diagnosis, evidence-based protocol, outcome evaluation. When I entered the hybrid fitness world I found the opposite: generic plans, no real periodisation, no station specificity.
I sat down and designed the system carefully. Applying the same logic of precision medicine to hybrid athletic performance. The engine reflects published literature — PAP, energy system development mapped to competition stations, 5-phase periodisation, load adaptive to fitness state.
And the first thing we did was test it on ourselves. Jorge and I were HybridBeastBrain™'s first athletes. Valencia 2025 → Bilbao 2026. The numbers are above.
